US Sends Ceasefire Proposal
US Special Envoy Steven Witkoff reportedly delivered the proposal to Hamas Sunday. The plan urges an end to Israel’s military operations in exchange for immediate release of all hostages. Israel would release up to 3,000 Palestinian prisoners in return.
Hostages Remain and Pressure Mounts
Reports indicate 48 hostages remain in Gaza, with only about 20 believed alive. Trump issued a similar warning in March. His latest message increases public pressure on Hamas to accept a deal Washington says could finally resolve the conflict.
